Project #1
My first full-length project is a steampunk fantasy novel. My second draft of this project is currently in the hands of beta readers. I asked them to finish reading this draft of my novel by the end of November. My plan is to compile their feedback and make one more edit/rewrite to this novel in December, then begin querying agents in January.
Project #2
Project #2 is a sci-fi thriller. I am in the early outlining this novel, and plan to write the bulk of it while I wait to hear back from agents on project #1. The advice I received from a fellow writer was to not sit and wait to hear back from agents, but to work hard in that interim on my next project. So that’s what I intend to do.
